Historical Images
These images are reproduced from original photographs and documents in the Clive Morley Collection.
Some of the images originated with Joseph George Morley (1847-1921) and the collection was later greatly expanded by his son, John Sebastian Morley (1898-1986). As the owner of a thriving harp retail and repair business in London, John Sebastian regularly came into contact with well known harpists, who often gave him signed photographs and other publicity material. The collection includes items relating to individual harpists (listed alphabetically); duos and groups of harpists; harps; the Morley shop and workshops; and non-harpists.
We have made these items available as a resource for the study and general interest of harpists and music historians. Please contact us if you would like to use an image for a particular purpose. All images are copyright and must not be reproduced without our permission.

HARPISTS FROM ARGENTINA
We are very grateful to Patricia Isabel Puricelli Embajadora de Paz for sending us the images in this section, which include several well known Argentinian harpists and a programme signed by (Spanish) harpist, Nicanor Zabeleta.
Patricia’s website el museo del arpa de argentina has lots more fascinating images of harpists from Argentina and is well worth a visit.
